Halfway Through the Year, Full of Gratitude
It's hard to believe we're already halfway through 2026.
This time of the year always invites me to pause and take stock. And what I feel most is gratitude.
There are moments when I stop and think: I can't believe I get to do this for a living. Every day that I wake up and get to spend my time coaching leaders, writing, speaking, creating community, and sharing ideas with you feels like a gift, one I never want to take for granted. Every word of encouragement, every referral, every invitation, every registration, every conversation has been meaningful to me.
Whether you've hired me to coach your team, invited me to facilitate a retreat, attended an event, replied to one of these newsletters, shared my work with someone else, or simply shown up here week after week to read these reflections, you've helped make this life possible.
Thank you.
By the time you're reading this, I'll be on my quarterly break in Oakland escaping the brutal Atlanta heat, and spending time with one of my closest girlfriends for 20+ years. Then I’ll head home for more rest and play and hopefully some pool time!
These quarterly breaks have become one of the greatest gifts I've given myself over the past few years. I've learned that I do my best work when I'm truly rested so I take my time off seriously. Then, once my heart is full and my mind is clear, I look back on the last quarter and set my intentions for the next one.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Thank you for making this work, and this life, possible.
I'll see you on the other side.
